Manorhaven Pool features a 25,000 square foot main pool area with competition and lap swim area, general swim sections, zero depth entry for children and beginners, as well as two giant water slides and state of the art play features; plus, a separate kiddie pool area. The 12,000 square foot bathhouse complex also has outdoor food service and seating. The pool complex is set back from the sandy beach. There are no waves and it is relatively shallow near the edge with no waves - a nice bay feature for when you have little ones. In between the beach and pool is another playground area with slides, monkey bars and other climbing and play equipment over a sand floor. This playground is not covered and some of the equipment can get hot in the summer.
No floats or swimming devices are allowed in public beaches or pools. All registrations take place in person. Be prepared to bring your deed, rental agreement and utility bill if this is the first time you are registering.
Manorhaven Beach Park, as it is officially called, also has outdoor recreation activities, such as basketball, tennis courts, handball, horseshoe pits, and racquetball and bocci courts.

Nickerson Beach
You need a leisure pass only available for purchase at Eisenhower Park Administration office or Wantagh Park Administration office in order for this to be a reasonable trip. Parking is priced for Leisure pass holders only, otherwise it is an exorbitant amount. Otherwise, this is a great complex on the ocean available for Nassau County residents, featuring a pool, playground structure, concession stand, bungalow and more. I recommend this for Leisure Pass holders and those with older kids, since the walk from the complex to the beach is very long.
- Parking Fees
- Daily Parking with Leisure Pass $15
- Non res Parking $37
- Pool Entry Leisure Pass $10 adults, $6 kids
- Pool Entry Without Leisure Pass $16 adults, $11 kids
